Great, easy, fast, super friendly would buy all glass products here againPosted on Scott RehmusTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Fantastic experience from start to finish! Gave quote over the phone for a back glass on older model Mazda. Surprisingly had glass in stock at reasonable price. Made space for me same day and then completed the job in just 2.5 hours. Professional, friendly, and went above-and-beyond by helping charge my completely dead car battery! While I hope to not need their services again, I would go back to them in a heartbeat.
Your windshield is now part of your safety system.
Most vehicles built after 2016 have a camera mounted behind the windshield. It powers Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning, lane-keep assist, adaptive cruise control, and pedestrian detection.
When a windshield is replaced, that camera’s angle and field of view shift, even by a fraction of a degree. That tiny shift is enough for the system to misjudge distances, miss a pedestrian, or brake at the wrong moment.
Recalibration isn’t optional on equipped vehicles, it’s a safety requirement after any windshield replacement.
Common causes of back glass damage
- Static calibration — performed in-shop using manufacturer-approved targets at precise distances
- Dynamic calibration — performed on a road drive with specialized equipment reading the camera
- Both methods available in-house — many vehicles require one or the other, some need both
- Included in your ICBC glass claim where applicable — no separate charge to fight over
EV & hybrid owners
Please arrive with at least 50% charge. Calibration may require your vehicle to stay powered on for an extended period while we align the system. (Please ask us in advance if we can do the ADAS calibration on your car made and model)

How we calibrate precisely
Identify the system
We scan your vehicle and confirm exactly which ADAS features and calibration type your make and model require.
Static alignment
Using manufacturer targets at precise measured distances in our controlled shop space, we align the camera to spec.
Dynamic road test
Where required, we complete a calibration drive with diagnostic equipment reading the camera live on the road.
Verify & document
We confirm a successful calibration, clear any fault codes, and document it for your records and ICBC claim.
ADAS calibration is covered by ICBC
When calibration is required as part of a windshield replacement, it's included in your ICBC glass claim. Some shops charge it separately, we don't. It's part of doing the job right.

ADAS calibration questions
Still unsure? Call our team, we’re happy to assess your situation and give you an honest answer over the phone, free of charge.
How do I know if my car needs ADAS calibration?
If your vehicle has a camera mounted behind the windshield (visible near the rear-view mirror) and features like lane-keep, automatic braking, or adaptive cruise, it needs calibration after a windshield replacement. We confirm this for you at drop-off — and we’ll never charge for calibration your vehicle doesn’t need.
How long does calibration take?
Static calibration typically adds 30–60 minutes to a windshield replacement. Dynamic calibration requires a road drive that can take another 20–40 minutes depending on conditions. We’ll give you a time estimate specific to your vehicle.
Can I skip calibration to save time or money?
We strongly advise against it. An uncalibrated ADAS camera may brake late, steer incorrectly, or fail to detect a hazard. It can also leave warning lights on your dash and, in some cases, affect insurance liability. Since it’s covered by ICBC, there’s no reason to skip it.
Do you calibrate my specific make and model?
We calibrate most of car models, but to make sure. Please give us a call for confirmation.
